Troubleshooting

Copy the complete error text first. Then verify the selected workspace, model, and referenced paths. No recovery step below requires deleting local sessions.

officecli ENOENT	Missing or wrong-architecture engine	Reinstall OfficeCLI and verify the executable.
presentation_apply rejects /slides/1	Invalid OfficeCLI path	Use /slide[1]; add needs type or from.
Research confirmation is missing or expired	Expired plan token	Prepare and confirm a fresh plan, then pass its token.
Google access_denied	OAuth app is in testing	Add the account as a test user or complete verification.
Secure credential storage is unavailable	OS credential service unavailable	Repair the keychain/credential manager; do not hard-code keys.
macOS signature validation failure	Unsigned or unnotarized build	Install the matching package from the official download page.
Stale spreadsheet formula preview	Formula cache not recalculated	Recalculate and save in Excel/WPS, then verify again.
MCP timeout	URL, process, OAuth, or network issue	Test the connection and inspect the service logs.
SkillsMP has no matches or stays on offline cache	Network, catalog, or a narrow keyword	Change the query and refresh; the offline cache is not a live catalog. Import a local SKILL.md to bypass Discover.
Official MCP Registry will not auto-install	The entry needs a manual command or secret	Open the setup guide and create a custom connector from the publisher docs. The suggested command is not executed for you.
The task is already running	The task is starting, running, or waiting	Open the linked session and wait for the turn to finish; do not click Run again.
The linked session is currently running	The bound session already has an active turn	Wait for that session, or unlink the task and create a new session.
A digital employee sounds generic	Empty instructions, or an old session snapshot	Put responsibility and prohibitions in the employee instructions, then summon again. Started sessions do not pick up later edits.
Select an image model first / Configure an image model first	No image model enabled	Enable a model under Settings → Models → Images, then open Image generation. Chat models do not appear in the canvas picker.
This model does not support reference images / This model does not support mask editing	Capability not declared	Switch to an image model that supports references or masks. Do not set unsupported capabilities to true in a custom config.
Cannot find a new canvas	Canvas sessions are not in Recent threads	Open the Image & video library and use Search projects.

When reporting an issue include version, OS/architecture, workspace type, redacted tool arguments, full error, and reproduction steps. Never attach API keys or OAuth tokens.
