Troubleshooting

Copy the complete error text first. Then verify the selected workspace, model, and referenced paths. No recovery step below requires deleting local sessions.

The selected workspace is unavailable	Missing or unmounted path	Re-select a real folder and check permissions.
Default access only permits files inside the workspace	Target is outside the workspace	Move it into the workspace or use one-time elevation.
officecli ENOENT	Missing or wrong-architecture engine	Reinstall OfficeCLI and verify the executable.
presentation_apply rejects /slides/1	Invalid OfficeCLI path	Use /slide[1]; add needs type or from.
Research confirmation is missing or expired	Expired plan token	Prepare and confirm a fresh plan, then pass its token.
Google access_denied	OAuth app is in testing	Add the account as a test user or complete verification.
Secure credential storage is unavailable	OS credential service unavailable	Repair the keychain/credential manager; do not hard-code keys.
macOS signature validation failure	Unsigned or unnotarized build	Install the GitHub Release DMG manually.
Stale spreadsheet formula preview	Formula cache not recalculated	Recalculate and save in Excel/WPS, then verify again.
MCP timeout	URL, process, OAuth, or network issue	Test the connection and inspect the service logs.

When reporting an issue include version, OS/architecture, workspace type, redacted tool arguments, full error, and reproduction steps. Never attach API keys or OAuth tokens.
